When applying to wood and plaster, the surface should be prepared beforehand using a suitable sealer, such as : Selladora Sintética (Alkyd Sealer) or Multiusos al agua (Water-based multipurpose primer)
When applying to iron and steel, the surface should be protected beforehand using Imprimación Antioxidante (Anticorrosive primer) or Minio de Plomo (Red Lead). On galvanised steel and alloys, duly prime beforehand.
As it is a high solid product, in interior use, it could be enough with just one coat of enamel. In exterior use, it is recommendable to finish with 2 or 3 coats.
